All Inclusive Pros and Cons
Katie stayed at Dreams Las Mareas Costa Rica for her friends wedding. Highly recommend! Katie shares some of the best things about this resort.
- All inclusive truly feels luxurious
- No mental real estate on meal planning because there’s tons of options for picky eaters
- Great service
- Activities are included
- Adults could drop off kids at an activity center
But, Katie also goes over a few cons that may make you want to reconsider spending your entire vacation at an all inclusive resort
- Had to pay a lot extra for an excursions to get off the resort
- Didn’t get a true feel for the local culture
- Drinks were a little weak, but this may also be a pro if you’re a lightweight

Sarah gives some tips for planning a family vacation with a big group.
- If you’re going to rent a car, get a big van, rather than separate cars
- Get a cheap air bnb, then have lunch at a fancier resort
