Hello journeyers! A few weeks back on our Green Smoothie podcast episode I promised to share my go-to smoothies and here we are! I’ve had a green smoothie every day (let’s be honest Mon – Thurs) for about the past 10 years and I’m obsessed. It’s the easiest healthy thing you can do for yourself! My inspiration came reading Greens for Life. It’s an easy read and gives the health benefits of smoothies, (I still eat meat, sugar and drink caffeine, but whatever) and it also has fantastic recipes.

Lady Journey’s Best Green Smoothie Recipes

Morning Detox – If you went ham on carbs last night, this is your best friend

  • 1 C Greens (spinach, chard and lacinato kale are the est ones to try out first)
  • 2-3 inches of a cucumber
  • 1 stalk of celery
  • juice of half a lemon
  • 1 inch cube of ginger
  • water

Sunrise Chocolate Shake – When you have a choco shake for breakfast, nothing can stop you!

  • 1 C greens
  • 1/2 C blueberries
  • 1-2 Tbsp almond butter
  • 2-3 Tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 C almond milk

Pumpkin Spice Smoothie – Satisfy your inner basic!

  • 1 C greens
  • 1/2 C canned pumkin
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1 Tsp cinnamon
  • 1 C almond milk
  • 1 inch cube fresh ginger
